- Go to the top of your phone and scroll until you find Quick Share.
- Select the app symbol.
- Click on the option that corresponds to your need. Decide if you will establish a connection to send files with nobody, contacts only, or everyone (any computer nearby can view your files).
It also allows you to share and view content lasting just 10 minutes. After that time, it will automatically disconnect.

How are the teams identified?
An important fact is that the various devices are identified by the owner’s name and the code or model number. The name can be changed by entering “settings.”
Do it from your Chromebook, too
Sending files from this type of device is as simple as the procedure carried out with a mobile phone:
- At the bottom right of your device, click on “Settings.”
- Then, select “Connected devices.”
- In that section, choose “Configure” next to Quick Share.
- Determine a name or identification for your device and finish the action by pressing “Done.”
Once these steps have been completed, indicate with whom you will transfer information. To do it towards another team, you can decide between 2 alternatives:
- Select the file, and with the right mouse button, choose the option to send it.
- Go to the Chrome browser, click “save and share,” and finally, choose Quick Share. In this case, you must wait for the recipient to accept the shipment you want to make.
You can use any of these options to make the shipment. Alternatively, you can disconnect the application whenever you want. In the “Settings” section, choose “Connected devices.”
