Before showing you the range of options existing, evaluate the device to boost. Confirm that you have 5G. This 5th-generation mobile network can reduce interference and improve bandwidth and latency.

2.   Change your device’s settings

The configuration is simple and safe to boost internet speed on your Android. Best of all, you don’t require downloads. So, do the following steps:

  • Go to the “Settings” section
  • Choose the option that says “About Phone.”
  • Enter the information about your device.
  • Look under “Build Number,” “Kernel Version,” or “MIUI Version”
  • Press 5 to 7 on the selected option to get the developer options.

Lastly, come back to the settings. You will find a section that says “Developer options. “Go to the menu and locate the section that says “Buffer sizes to register” or something similar. Several options will appear, where it will usually be set to 256K. Could you change it to a higher chance?

3.  Reset network settings

To significantly boost your internet speed, reset your network settings. This action resets the mobile internet settings to their original factory state, ensuring optimal performance. Thus, you can pick between the different types of bands (5G, 4G, 3G or LTE).

Access “Reset” through “Advanced Settings” to reset Wi-Fi, mobile data, and Bluetooth. To reset your device’s Wi-Fi settings, mobile data, and Bluetooth, follow these steps:

1. Go to “Settings”

2. Click on “System”

3. Then, scroll down and click on “Advanced Settings”

4. Tap on “Reset”

5. Select “Reset Wi-Fi Settings” to erase all saved Wi-Fi networks and their passwords

6. Next, select “Mobile Data and Bluetooth” to reset your device’s network settings and Bluetooth connections.

By following these steps, your device’s network settings will be reset to their default values, which can help fix any issues you may be experiencing with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity.

Finally, you will find the option that says “Reset Settings .”Click on it. Remember that you will have to reconfigure all your connections after doing this.

4.   Turn off background apps

By default, apps that consume resources in the background are disabled. However, sometimes, they generate minimal consumption of mobile data. We recommend turning them off. To do this, go to “Settings,” “Apps,” “Mobile data,” and “End background data usage.”

5.    Clear your browser’s cache

Indeed, it could be another reason why your internet is slow. To solve this issue, perform the following phases:

  • Open the browser.
  • Choose the three dots at the top right.
  • Click on the “History” and clear the browsing data.

Finally, click on the “Time Interval” menu. Choose the “Cached files and images” option and clear the data. We commend doing this occasionally, as it will significantly help your team.

6.   Restart your phone

Restarting your phone may be too simple an option for your connection problem. However, a quick restart can solve more problems than you might imagine. It can also make your 4G or 5G connection faster on your Android.

7.   Fixes DNS 1 and DNS 2

Do you know what DNS is? The Domain Name System is like the Internet contact list. Instead of assigning a phone number to a person, it gives domain names to IP addresses.

Your computer’s DNS may not be configured correctly on the server. If you experience navigation problems, changing it may be the solution. To do so, follow these steps:

  • Go to your Android settings.
  • Go to “Wireless or Wi-Fi connections.”
  • When you’re there, you’ll see a list of WIFI-available networks; select the one that’s yours.
  • Then, press your finger on the web and click “Modify network.”
  • Scroll to “IP Settings”

Finally, go to the “Static IP” option and, in DNS 1 and DNS2, put ”  1.1.1.1″. With this, web pages can load faster, thanks to DNS translation.
